Maharashtra HSC Result 2026 Announcement
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Maharashtra HSC results for 2026 on May 2 at 1 pm. Students who took the Class 12 exams can check and download their marksheets from the official website.
Exam Details and Participation
The Maharashtra 12th board exams were held from February 11 to March 11 at 3,387 centers across the state. More than 14 lakh students appeared for these exams this year.
Passing Criteria
To pass the Maharashtra HSC exams, students must score at least 35% in each subject. This includes both theory and practical exams. In other words, students need a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in every subject to qualify.
How to Check Maharashtra HSC Result 2026
Once the results are declared, students can check their scores online by following these steps:
- Visit the official website mahresult.nic.in
- Click on the “Maharashtra HSC Result – Examination 2026” link
- Enter your valid roll number and seat number
- Submit the details to view your result
- Download and print the result for future reference
The result sheet will show important information such as the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks, grade, and final pass or fail status.
Alternative Ways to Access Results
Students can also get their Maharashtra HSC results through DigiLocker or SMS:
- DigiLocker: Log in to the DigiLocker app or website using your Aadhaar number or mobile number to download a provisional digital copy of your marksheet.
- SMS: Send a message with the format MHHSC <space> SEAT NUMBER to 57766 to receive your marks via SMS.
